Our Story
A small crew with deep roots in these waters
Seawhisper grew from a simple idea — that a charter should feel like time well spent, not a rushed group excursion.

Seawhisper — since 2011
Seawhisper started as a two-boat operation run by a father and son who had spent their early years fishing and sailing the waters around Koh Sirey. What began as weekend charters for visiting friends grew quietly into a small, respected charter service known mainly by word of mouth.
Over more than a decade, the fleet has grown modestly — never beyond what the team can manage with the same attentiveness that defined the early years. The aim has never been volume. It has always been the quality of a single day on the water, or a three-day passage made comfortable and worthwhile.
The crew knows the east and south coasts of Phuket the way you only can from years of repetition — where the current shifts in May, which anchorages hold well in afternoon winds, and how the Racha Islands look at different times of year. That knowledge makes a practical difference to how charters go.
Seawhisper operates from Laem Hin Pier on Koh Sirey, a quieter part of Phuket that still has the character of a working harbour. Departures from here skip the crowded marinas and get you onto open water faster.

Standards & Safety
How we keep charters safe and well-run
Safety Equipment
All vessels carry current life jackets, flares, first aid supplies, and radio equipment. Safety checks are completed before every departure.
Certified Crew
Captains hold valid Thai Maritime Authority certifications and undergo regular first aid refreshers. All crew are trained in passenger safety procedures.
Fleet Maintenance
Each vessel is inspected between charters. Engine, hull, and rigging are assessed on a scheduled cycle. No charter departs on a vessel with outstanding maintenance issues.
Weather Monitoring
The team monitors forecasts from multiple regional services before and during each charter. Guests are informed of any significant changes to conditions.
Marine Insurance
All vessels carry appropriate charter insurance covering passengers and third-party liability. Documentation is available on request before booking.
Environmental Care
The crew follows established anchorage guidelines near sensitive reefs, avoids restricted marine zones, and does not allow waste disposal at sea.
Yacht charter from Koh Sirey, Phuket
Seawhisper operates from Laem Hin Pier — a working harbour on the eastern side of Koh Sirey island, connected to the Phuket mainland by a short bridge. The location places the fleet close to the open channels that lead south toward the Racha Islands and the Phi Phi archipelago, while also allowing short, scenic passages along the mangrove coastline of eastern Phuket.
The charter types offered by Seawhisper reflect what these waters are best suited for. Morning bay cruises work with the calm conditions that typically hold along the eastern shore before midday. The Racha day sail takes advantage of the south-southwest swell patterns that, outside of the monsoon period, make for pleasant sailing toward Racha Yai and Racha Noi. The three-day expedition follows the more open western coast, where the sea state is different in character and the anchorages are further apart.
For families, small groups, and couples looking for a private experience on the water, Seawhisper offers something distinct from the larger tour operators — a smaller vessel, a crew that communicates clearly, and an approach built around the experience rather than the schedule.
